An RMT originally from NZ, Tash has spent over a decade working in the professional Sports scene and recently stepped into the trauma response and neuroscience side of the massage world.
She has built a clinic that is inclusive and embraces diversity as injuries, aches and pains, stress and biomechanical dysfunctions impact everyone at every stage of life be it work life or sporting elements.
"I enjoy being able to understand and identify each individual's own unique biomechanics, which helps to identify areas of disfunction/injury/restrictions."
Being able to help her clients with all their aches and pains, as well as educate them on their body helps give a greater understanding to encourage the Mind-Body connection to add with recovery from injury, injury management and prevention.
Mel has been an RMT for 9 years and has learnt many modalities as a therapist.
Within the last 5 years however, she has discovered her passion lies in the lymphatic therapies.
Lymphatic drainage techniques are something Mel can help a variety of clients with an array of conditions and even uses this skill to help horses!
Lymphatics therapies are a unique way to recover from heavy training, and surgery, reduce edema, relax, and enhance the body's ability to recover.
To complement lymphatic techniques, Mel often uses Kinesiotaping to help support the body after the treatment has ended.
